Journal of Innovation Materials, Energy, and Sustainable Engineering (JIMESE) is a leading peer-reviewed and open-access journal, published by Institute for Advanced Social, Science, and Sustainable Future (IASSSF), Jakarta, Indonesia. JIMESE is published twice a year (January and July), and all articles published are available online with open access.

JIMESE is dedicated to advancing the development and implementation of technologies that leverage renewable energy sources to meet global energy needs. The journal aims to foster progress in sustainable technologies, promote clean energy production, and address pressing environmental challenges. By focusing on innovations in materials and energy solutions, JIMESE seeks to contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future.

JIMESE prioritizes the publication of high-impact research that explores cutting-edge technologies and advancements in materials science, energy systems, and sustainable engineering. The journal emphasizes interdisciplinary studies that bridge the gap between material innovations and energy solutions, with a particular focus on how these advancements can drive progress in renewable energy and environmental sustainability.

This journal seeks to publish a broad range of scholarly articles, including: 

  1. Advanced Energy Materials: Studies on materials specifically engineered for energy applications including photovoltaics, fuel cells, thermoelectric materials, catalysts, and energy conversion systems with improved efficiency and reduced environmental impact.
  2. Electronics and Aerospace: Development of materials and technologies that enhance performance and sustainability in electronic devices and aerospace applications.
  3. Fossil Fuels and Nuclear Energy: Studies on the environmental impacts and efficiency of fossil fuels and nuclear energy, including advancements and innovations in these fields.
  4. Innovative Materials Engineering: Research on novel material design, synthesis, characterization, and applications with enhanced properties for structural, functional, and sustainable engineering solutions across multiple industries.
  5. Sustainable Manufacturing and Processing: Research on green fabrication methods, resource-efficient production techniques, additive manufacturing, and sustainable processing of materials with emphasis on reduced environmental footprint.
  6. Renewable Energy Technologies: Investigations into solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, and bioenergy systems, focusing on technological innovations, efficiency improvements, and integration challenges for wider adoption and implementation.
  7. Energy Storage Solutions: Studies on batteries, supercapacitors, thermal storage, mechanical storage systems, and hydrogen storage technologies with emphasis on performance enhancement, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
  8. Materials for Environmental Applications: Research on materials designed for environmental remediation, pollution control, carbon capture, water treatment, and other applications addressing pressing environmental challenges.
  9. Smart Energy Systems and Grid Integration: Research on intelligent energy management, smart grid technologies, demand response systems, and integration strategies for distributed energy resources to enhance efficiency and reliability.
