About the Journal

Journal of Socio-Cultural Sustainability and Resilience (JSCSR) is a leading peer-reviewed and open-access journal, published by Institute for Advanced Social, Science, and Sustainable Future (IASSSF), Jakarta, Indonesia. JSCSR is published twice a year (January and July), and all articles published are available online with open access.

 

Aims

JSCSR aims to publish scholarly works that critically engage with community development dynamics, socio-environmental issues, and cultural sustainability. The journal seeks to contribute to global understanding in these areas, with a particular emphasis on research relevant to Indonesian society.

 

Focus

JSCSR focuses on publishing high-quality articles that foster discussions and debates about the preservation of local wisdom, community empowerment, and sustainable development. The journal encourages interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches, highlighting how local strategies and innovations can enhance cultural resilience and sustainability within the Indonesian context, while also promoting socio-environmental justice.
