Aim and Scope

Asian Journal of Toxicology, Environmental, and Occupational Health (AJTEOH) is a leading peer-reviewed and open-access journal, published by Institute for Advanced Social, Science, and Sustainable Future (IASSSF), Jakarta, Indonesia, with e-ISSN: 3025-3675. AJTEOH is published twice a year (January and July), and all articles published are available online with open access.

Aims

AJTEOH aims to advance scientific knowledge by addressing critical health issues at the intersection of toxicology, environmental science, and occupational health. The journal is committed to publishing research that not only explores the adverse effects of environmental and occupational exposures on human health but also contributes to the development of innovative strategies for risk reduction and health improvement, particularly within the diverse contexts of Asian populations and industries.

Focus

AJTEOH focuses on disseminating cutting-edge research that explores the interconnections between toxicology, environmental factors, and occupational health, particularly in the context of Asian societies. The journal prioritizes multidisciplinary approaches that incorporate insights from toxicology, environmental health, and occupational safety to address complex health challenges. By emphasizing the unique environmental and occupational settings in Asia, the journal seeks to contribute to global understanding while offering context-specific solutions.

Scope

This journal seeks to publish a broad range of scholarly articles, including:

  1. Human Toxicology and Exposure Pathways:
Research that delves into the toxicological effects of chemicals and hazardous substances on human health, emphasizing exposure routes, dose-response relationships, and underlying mechanisms, with a focus on specific risks in Asian contexts.

  2. Pesticide Hazard and Toxicity:
In-depth studies on the health risks associated with pesticide exposure, including acute and chronic effects, toxicity mechanisms, and risk mitigation strategies, especially relevant to agricultural practices prevalent in Asia.

  3. Behavioral Influences on Occupational Health and Safety:
Research exploring how human behavior and cultural factors influence occupational health and safety outcomes, including psychological and social aspects that affect workplace hazards and safety practices in diverse Asian industries.

  4. Occupational Stress, Mental Health, and Well-being:
Studies investigating the impact of occupational stress on mental health, including contributing factors, coping mechanisms, and interventions designed to improve mental well-being and safety in the workplace, with an emphasis on high-stress industries in Asia.
