About the Journal

Journal of Economic, Business & Accounting Research (JEMBAR) is a leading peer-reviewed and open-access journal, published by Institute for Advanced Social, Science, and Sustainable Future (IASSSF), Jakarta, Indonesia. JEMBAR is published twice a year (January and July), and all articles published are available online with open access.

Aims

JEMBAR aims to encourage both theoretical and practical research in the fields of business economics, macroeconomics, and accounting. The journal is dedicated to promoting high-quality empirical scientific works, while also considering the publication of conceptual and state-of-the-art contributions.

JEMBAR focuses on publishing empirical research and studies that have a significant impact on the field of business economics, macroeconomics, and accounting. The journal seeks to contribute to the advancement of knowledge by promoting interdisciplinary approaches and innovative methodologies.

This journal seeks to publish a broad range of scholarly articles, including:

    Studies on financial statement preparation, accounting principles implementation, and regulatory compliance across different business environments. This includes investigation of reporting challenges in complex economic contexts.
  2. Business Economics and Market Structure Analysis
    Research on economic principles applying to business operations, including market competition, pricing strategies, and resource allocation efficiency. These explore economic forces shaping different industry environments.
  3. Corporate Finance and Investment Analysis
    Studies on capital structure decisions, valuation methods, and investment portfolio management in public and private enterprises. This examines factors influencing financial decision-making in established and emerging markets.
  4. Strategic Management and Business Development
    Analyses of competitive positioning, growth strategies, and organizational adaptation in changing business landscapes. This includes examination of strategic decision-making processes in various industry contexts.
  5. MSME Development and Financial Inclusion
    Studies on micro, small, and medium enterprise growth, access to financial services, and community-based economic development initiatives. These investigate inclusive economic models supporting marginalized business communities.

Policy on Generative AI Use in Manuscript Preparation

2025-09-08

Starting from Volume 2, No. 2, all submitted articles are required to include a Declaration of Generative AI Use. Authors must disclose any use of AI tools in the acknowledgments section, specifying the tool used, its purpose, and confirming their full responsibility for the final content. The declaration should be written as follows: “During the preparation of this work, the author(s) used [tool name] to assist in [specific function]. After using this tool, the author(s) reviewed and edited the content as needed and took full responsibility for the content of the publication.” For example: “During the preparation of this work, the author(s) used Grammarly to assist in improving grammar, clarity, and academic tone of the manuscript. After using this tool, the author(s) reviewed and edited the content as needed and took full responsibility for the content of the publication.”
