AIM AND SCOPE

Jurnal Bisnis Kehutanan dan Lingkungan (JBKL) is a leading peer-reviewed and open-access journal, published by Institute for Advanced Social, Science, and Sustainable Future (IASSSF), Jakarta, Indonesia, with e-ISSN: 3025-4833. JBKL is published twice a year (January and July), and all articles published are available online with open access.

JBKL is dedicated to advancing the academic discourse on forestry business and environmental sustainability. Our aim is to publish cutting-edge research that explores the multifaceted interactions between forestry management and environmental stewardship. JBKL is committed to fostering global dialogue by presenting studies that offer innovative theoretical frameworks and practical solutions applicable across diverse contexts. Through its biannual publications, JBKL strives to contribute meaningfully to the development of theories and practices that address pressing issues in forestry and environmental management.

 

Focus

JBKL focuses on high-impact research that integrates interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary perspectives to address contemporary challenges in forestry business and environmental sustainability. The journal prioritizes studies that not only advance theoretical understanding but also propose actionable strategies for improving the management and utilization of forest resources. This journal seeks to publish a broad range of scholarly articles, including: 

  1. Forest Business Management: Research on the utilization of forest areas for various business purposes, including the management of protected and production forests, as well as the management of timber and non-timber forest products.

  2. Sustainable Utilization and Management: Strategies and methods for the sustainable and economic use of forest resources, including the management of ecosystem services provided by forests.

  3. Development of Theoretical Frameworks: Contributions to the development of theories and practices in forest business, applicable at both global and local levels.

  4. Policies and Regulations: Analysis of policies and regulations affecting the forest business and their implementation in forest resource management.

  5. Global and Local Perspectives: Studies comparing forest business practices and strategies across different regions and scales.
