About the Journal

Applied Environmental Science (AES) is a scientific journal dedicated to supporting discussions in the field of environmental science, including practices and case studies aimed at achieving environmental sustainability. AES is committed to publishing journals that are not only academically or theoretically robust but also produce journals containing practical policy recommendations.

AES is a leading peer-reviewed and open-access journal, published by Institute for Advanced Social, Science, and Sustainable Future (IASSSF), Jakarta, Indonesia, with e-ISSN: 3025-0412. AES is published twice a year (February and August), and all articles published are available online with open access.

Aims

AES is dedicated to publishing high-quality scholarly works that focus on advancing the field of environmental science. The journal aims to provide a global platform for researchers, scholars, and practitioners to share ideas, exchange knowledge, and present innovative solutions that contribute to environmental sustainability. AES seeks to promote rigorous scientific research, practical applications, and policy recommendations that address pressing environmental challenges.

Focus

AES emphasizes the publication of scientific articles that explore contemporary environmental issues with an interdisciplinary approach, aiming to integrate scientific, technological, social, economic, and policy perspectives to address the complexities of environmental challenges.

Scope

This journal seeks to publish a broad range of scholarly articles, including:
